Out and About in Toronto: Lawrence Park School
One of the kindest corners in North Toronto is the Lawrence Park School. It is a half day preschool with enriched toddler, preschool, kindergarten, and summer programs for children ages 18 months to 6 years. Working as a Realtor, I didn’t need my son at a full day nursery school but I knew I still wanted him to have some enrichment and get ready for kindergarten and this was the perfect place. I don’t know of a more loving or nurturing environment for little ones. The program, the teachers, and the facility are all second to none. They have created a caring, safe, and happy spot. The small class sizes mean the kids get the attention they need and they soak up the learning like sponges. Kids can begin their day as early as 8:30 and go until up to 2:55 depending on the programing. They have a large outdoor play area, gyms and classrooms for games, sports, sensory, science, drama, music, french, art and other fun activities. Kids explore themes, crafts and activities tailored to their specific interests. There was an open house and registration for the fall this week but they always have time to talk to parents and provide a tour. See below for their number to book a tour. They still have some availability for some weekly summer programs too for both July and August. I trusted them implicitly with one of the four most precious people in my life and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
